Some early Texas heroes
have been forgotten,
while others remain
relatively unknown,
unrecognized, and
unappreciated.
As a historical researcher, I
respect the many contributions
these individuals have made
on behalf of our fine state; and
accordingly, I encourage their
proper and overdue recognition
and remembrance.
Please do your part for your heroes.
